Our Team
Jay Fu
Principal Architect
Jay has 15 years of experience in IT and has worked in several different roles, including tester, developer, application specialist, integration specialist. And finally settled in the Data/BI space.
For the last 10 years, he has focused on providing data/BI solutions for Microsoft Dynamics ERP. Jay is a hands-on principal architect working at a strategic level to help businesses shape their long time data/BI vision. He is over-arching the architecture design for all JayConsulting’s customers and project/resource planning for the data/BI solutions.
At the same time, Jay enjoys jumping into any technical situation that requires his technical expertise to help the team deliver what is needed.
David Jones
Principal Consultant
David has 20 years of experience in IT. he has always been involved in technical divisions supporting large businesses. David eventually found his niche in systems integration and enterprise databases.
David has a solid understanding of various project management and development methodologies and can adapt these to suite the required deliverables or audience.
David has worked as BI Manager and Enterprise Solution Manager at two companies that heavily use Dynamics AX/CRM/365. He was part of the Management team that implemented Dynamics 365 FinOps within 114 days.
Howie Fu
Data/BI Architect
Howie is an experienced professional with more than 10 years of experience in the Data/BI space.
He has worked as a senior BI member with several large organisations in Christchurch, focusing on Data Warehouse, Analytic Reporting development and EDW server architecture design (including data warehousing and ETL).
He can take both a strategic and a detailed view of an idea, project or issue manages multiple stakeholder relationships with technical and non-technical colleagues; builds a unified vision for each project through ongoing communication and transparency.
Andrew te Groen
Data/BI Specialist
Andrew began his career as a Service Desk Analyst for a large nationwide company, this exposed him to many technologies used in the industry. It was during this time he first began to experiment with Power BI and data.
He has spent the last four years helping implement and supporting Power BI in different organisations, in addition to providing technical support and ad-hoc data analysis to help the business achieve their results.
